Privacy Policy

Unmired Consulting LLC ("Unmired," "we," "us") is a Texas limited liability company based in Houston. This policy explains what information we collect through lifeunmired.com and our coaching services, how we use it, and the choices you have. Short version: we collect what we need to talk with you and deliver coaching, we do not sell it, and you can ask us what we hold about you at any time.
What we collect
When you contact us or book a call. The contact form and the First Step Call booking form ask for your name, email address, and phone number. They also ask why you are reaching out, how you heard about us, which services interest you, and anything you choose to share to help us prepare.
When you become a coaching client. We keep your coaching agreement, session notes, scheduling details, and payment records. If your program includes a Birkman assessment, your responses are collected and processed by Birkman International on its own platform under its privacy terms; we receive your results and keep our debrief notes.
When you visit the site. Like most websites, ours records basic technical information such as your browser type, device, pages viewed, and approximate location. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This data is aggregated and does not identify you by name.
When you pay. Payments are processed by Wix Payments. We see the amount, date, and the last four digits of your card. We never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
To answer your message and set up and confirm calls and sessions.
To deliver coaching: preparing for sessions, tracking your goals, and keeping the records a coaching engagement needs.
To send booking confirmations and reminders. These come from marjorie@lifeunmired.com through Wix.
To improve the site, using aggregated analytics.
To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not send marketing email unless you opt in, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that help us run the practice: Wix (website, booking, forms, and payments), Microsoft 365 (email and file storage), Google Analytics (site usage), Birkman International (assessments, for clients whose program includes one), and our accounting and e-signature providers. Each handles your data under its own privacy terms. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it or you ask us to.
Confidentiality of coaching
What you share in coaching stays between you and your coach. We do not disclose the content of sessions to your employer, even when your employer is paying for the engagement, unless you agree in writing. The exceptions are the ones the law requires: a credible threat of serious harm to you or someone else, or a court order.
How long we keep it
Contact and booking records are kept while we are in touch and for a reasonable period afterward. Client records are kept for the length of the engagement and for seven years after it ends, then deleted or anonymized. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will, unless a legal or accounting obligation requires us to keep it.
Cookies
The site uses cookies for basic functions (such as keeping you signed in to the client area) and for Google Analytics. A banner on your first visit lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in the message. Write to marjorie@lifeunmired.com and we will respond.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site.
